When the day warms, three sets of sliders dissolve the boundary between inside and out, and life spills effortlessly onto the louvre-covered deck. Sun loungers, long lunches, and late afternoons that stretch further than planned become part of the rhythm.

Step outside, and the lifestyle shifts again. A private path leads down to Orapiu Beach and the wharf, where fishing lines are dropped and time has a habit of slowing. Boaties are well catered for with a registered mooring, and there's nothing better than rinsing off in the hot outdoor shower after a swim. A nearby boatshed is available by longstanding gentleman's agreement, one of those rare, old-school details that speaks to the genuine sense of community here. Summer evenings often end with neighbours sharing a drink by the boathouses as the light fades. It's informal, unpretentious, and completely authentic.
